The Beaver Super moon: A Goodbye to 2024

In November 2024, the Beaver Moon corresponded with the last supermoon of the year. This phenomenon lashed the hundredth moon that bordered the earth much better on this date- November 15th. As it was super-mooned, the moon lighted the sky bigger and brighter in the realistic imagery as it was nearer to the earth surface. The supermoons are the times when the moon is almost on its orbit aligned closer to the earth, which even this was the case, for admirers of the sky and spaces, it was a beautiful one. Since this was the last supermoon of the year 2024 it raised the expectations within both the experts and the layman fans who were aiming to see this unusually beautiful marvel.



This supermoon had a unique quality that drew additional attention since it happened around the time the Leonids meteor shower was expected to peak, and the glare of the moon however dimmed the visibility of the meteors. Still, when the Beaver Moon came, it was still one of the highlights of the month. As it appeared over the horizons, its bulk and brightness made it very photographable so that a number of people also took pictures of it.


The Beaver Moon also witnessed king tides or tides that are above the normal ranges owing to the proximity of the moon to the Earth which in turn increases its gravitational force. Such tides, although not enough to result to flooding in resistant areas, were a reminder how the moon affects natural systems within the earth. This based on seasonal changes was how many viewed the event as one that called for gearing up for winter. The cultural changes that happen at different periods also at times in an enabling manner interact with stars and the cycle of time.



For those who did not watch the Beaver Moon, they will remember it as the last supermoon of the year 2024. The changing of the moon phases was accentuated by bright sun and associated events which made many quite disappointed that there were no other supermoons until 2025. The Beaver Moon in its turn became a proper closure towards a year that had countless breathtaking novelties in astronomical events.
